Sarah Lachman is the principal attorney of Lachman Law. She is an active leader and member of the New York chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the New York City Bar Association. Known for her straightforward communication style, her clients, both former and new, rely on her for various legal solutions in immigration law. Whether it is working with survivors of torture and abuse, reuniting families, or bringing more international talent to the United States, Sarah continues to help numerous individuals and families find solutions to their legal problems. Sarah is licensed to practice in New York and New Jersey. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.

FAMILY IMMIGRATION

REMOVAL/DEPORATION DEFENSE
If you have a date scheduled to see an Immigration Judge, you will need to be represented by an attorney. BOND HEARINGS
Have you or a loved one been taken into immigration custody? You may qualify for a bond to be released. Trust Lachman Law to handle the bond hearing and once released provide an immigration strategy to regularize your status in the U.S. In certain situations a bond may not be available, however we are able to work with cases that remain in detention centers.
Citizenship/Naturalization
They say nothing lasts forever…but Citizenship does! If you have been a permanent resident for 5 years (in some cases 3) you may be eligible for citizenship. There are so many benefits to becoming a US citizen, including voting and flexibility with travel.
